STORRS, Conn. - The Providence College men's soccer team was defeated, 3-0, at No. 1 Connecticut Wednesday night in Storrs, Conn. O'Brian White recorded his second in as many games to lead the way for the Huskies who improved to 12-1-0, including a 6-1-0 mark in BIG EAST action. The Friars fell to 5-5-1 and 2-3-1 in the Conference.

White scored in the ninth and 12th minute to give the Huskies a 2-0 halftime lead. He completed the scoring in the 86th minute with his 14th goal of the season.

The Friars are back in action on Saturday, October 13 with a BIG EAST home match against Marquette beginning at 1:00 p.m.
