The Friars are the third seed in the sixth annual women's Hockey East Tournament, being played at the Freitas Ice Forum in Storrs, Conn on March 8 and 9. In the semifinal round on Saturday, March 8, Providence will take on second seeded Connecticut at 3:00 p.m. The other semifinal match-up features top seeded New Hampshire versus fourth seeded Boston University at 12:30 p.m. The winners will advance to the Championship game on Sunday, March 9 at 12:30 p.m. Both semifinal games will be broadcast by the B2 Networks (www.b2tv.com), while the finals will be broadcast on NESN, on tape delay at 6:00 p.m. All games involving the Friars will also be internet broadcast through Friars.com.
