Gridiron Bash
Join Penn State students and fans for the Gridiron Bash Ultimate Fan Competition at University Park. The two-day carnival complete with rides begins outside of Beaver Stadium at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 18 with the annual Blue-White game on Saturday, April 19 at 2 p. m. Fans have the opportunity to earn $1 million in scholarship support for Penn State by competing against other participating schools to establish who has the most passionate and supportive fans. Winning schools will be determined by adding up the total paid attendance at the Gridiron Bash event combined with the number of fans that vote for their school. Get more information here.
This Week Is One of Your Last Times To See Big Ten Basketball Action at the BJC
The Nittany Lions men's basketball team plays at home twice this week as their regular season begins to wind down. Penn State faces Iowa Wednesday night at 7 p.m. before taking on Michigan at 8 p.m. Saturday for Senior Night. The Nittany Lions look to split their season series with both teams and tickets are still on sale for both games
on the ticket page.
The women's basketball team will close out their home season Thursday night taking on the Ohio State Buckeyes at 7 p.m in the Bryce Jordan Center. For tickets, click here. The Lady Lions look to even the season series with the Buckeyes before closing out the regular season in Bloomington on Sunday, March 2 against the Indiana Hoosiers. Men's Swimming, Men's and Women's Track & Field at Big Tens This Week
The men's swimming and diving team heads to Ann Arbor, Mich. on Wednesday to compete in the Big Ten Championships through Sunday. The Nittany Lions last won the Big Ten Championship in 1999. The event will be televised on the Big Ten Network the following week, Thursday March 6 at 8 p.m. To follow the weekend's action go to the men's swimming page.
The men's and women's track and field teams will compete in the Big Ten Championships held Saturday and Sunday. The men will travel to Madison, Wis., and the women to Minneapolis, Minn. The championships will later air on the Big Ten Network. The men's will air on Sunday, March 9 at 8 p.m. EST and the women's on Monday, March 10, at 7 p.m. EST.
