Champaign, Ill. - Friday's Big Ten series opener between Penn State and Illinois was suspended in the bottom of the eighth inning with two outs and Illinois leading 16-11 due to heavy rains and a string of lightning in the Champaign area. The game will be finished on Saturday beginning at 3:00 p.m. (ET). The teams will then play their regularly scheduled doubleheader beginning either at the regularly scheduled time at 4:05 p.m. (ET) or 30 minutes after the conclusion of the suspended game.
