UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - The Lady Lions were honored for their community service as they took home the CHAMPS Cup for the third consecutive year at the 21st Annual Academic Achievement Awards Banquet Monday night at the Bryce Jordan Center.

The CHAMPS Cup is awarded to two teams: a squad with 20 or fewer members and a squad with more than 20 or more members. The Lady Lions are the only "small" squad to have won the CHAMPS Cup award in the award's three years of existence. The football team's offensive unit was honored with the "large" squad award.
