UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Sixty Spider student-athletes from various sports put down their gear and picked up the phone this week, personally dialing almost 1,100 Spider Club members across the United States.

The third-annual Thank-A-Thon took place over the past three nights. The student-athletes' early evening calls delivered a simple but sincere message: Thank You. The student-athletes said thanks for the financial support to Richmond Athletics and the Spider Club.

The Spider Club is composed of former student-athletes, alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends dedicated to the advancement of Spider athletics. Gifts to the Spider Club provide annual financial support for scholarships and operating expenses for the Athletic Department.

The Thank-a-thon was a great success again this year!
