  • 5 QUESTIONS WITH KEVIN MCGEEHAN

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Men's basketball associate head coach Kevin McGeehan kicked off College Chalktalk's `Five Questions' Series.

McGeehan is a regular contributor to College Chalktalk, having done a monthly diary for the website during the 2008-09 season.

Richmond went 20-16 last season and lose just one contributor, senior center Jarhon Giddings. The Spiders replace Giddings with 2008 All-Atlantic 10 center Dan Geriot, who missed last season due to a torn ACL, but led the Spiders in scoring as a freshman and sophomore.

Guards Kevin Anderson (16.6 ppg) and David Gonzalvez (16.0) were the highest scoring combo in the Atlantic 10 last season, ranking seventh and eighth in the league in scoring. Anderson was named Second-Team All-Atlantic 10 and Gonzalvez was an honorable mention All A-10 selection.

With the return of Geriot (14.6 ppg in 2007-08), the Spiders boast arguably the best guard combo and best center in the conference, entering the 2009-10 season.
