RICHMOND, Va. - Members of the Richmond women's basketball and men's and women's soccer programs took part in a school-wide celebration Thursday recognizing good behavior by students at Holladay Elementary School.

This was the second year the women's basketball program has participated in the event with assistant coach Candice Jackson being joined by players Johanna McKnight, Brittani Shells, Abby Oliver and Joyous Tharrington.

Women's soccer assistant coach Jen Woodie was joined by players Andrea Young, Melissa Pacheco and Taylor Leaman, while men's soccer assistant coach Todd Herman also helped lead the elementary school kids through soccer drills.

The school's celebration was part of its discipline plan, which sets high standards of behavior and learning for students. As a reward, the students were allowed to choose two activities to participate in, which ranged from several different sports to the arts.
