Along with Duran, Erin Clark, Kelly Tidwell and Isabel Arana all earned wins for the Spiders (7-7) in singles action on Wednesday afternoon. Richmond's number two player, transfer Erin Clark, game back from losing the first set 3-6 to take the second and third sets, 7-6, 6-2.

"Erin's toughness under pressure was impressive," Wesselink commented. "She saved multiple match points made a huge difference in that match."

Duran teamed up with Vosters as Richmond's number one pair to take down East Carolina's Smith/Walter team, 8-5. Xenia Schneider played with Clark in doubles action to earn the win over Priest/Soler, 8-5.
