FAIRFIELD, Conn. (March 12, 2008) - Sacred Heart sophomore Timmy Katz (Freeport, NY) was named the Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Week announced by the league office on Wednesday. It is the first conference award for Katz.

Katz scored eight goals in two games, leading the Pioneers to wins over Manhattan and Hartford. Katz opened the week with a two-goal effort against the Jaspers.
