FAIRFIELD, Conn. (February 12, 2008) - Senior track athlete Arman Dixon (Beacon, NY) was named the Sacred Heart / Enterprise Rent-A-Car Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of February 4th through 10th.

Dixon turned in a performance of the ages at the 2008 Northeast Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships over the weekend guiding the Pioneers to the program's first ever title. Dixon earned his third-consecutive meet MVP award as well as sweeping the Track Performer of the Year and Field Performer of the Year honors.

The senior sprinter won the long jump with a NCAA provisional mark of 24'7.25" on Saturday and posted wins in the 60 meter dash (6.79) and 400 meters (48.07) on Sunday. He followed that with a second place finish in the 200 meters and a third place finish in triple jump to wrap up his record setting weekend.
