Fairfield, CT - Freshman Jinal Shah (Mombasa,Kenya) earned first team honors at number five singles and joined with his partner Cole Conrad (Fairfield, CT), to take home second team honors at number three doubles as the Northeast Conference announced its All-League teams in men's and women's tennis Thursday afternoon.

In addition to Shah and Conrad, freshman Kirill Kasyanov (Yonkers, NY) earned was named to the second team at number one singles while, on the women's side, sophomore Julianne Kasinow (Wall, NJ) and freshman Ashley Amalfe (Clark, NJ) earned second team honors at number two doubles.

Shah posted a record of 17-5 playing singles for SHU this season. He was 4-2 at fourth singles, 8-0 at number five and 5-0 playing sixth singles. He was his final 11 singles matches of the season. The duo of Conrad and Shah teamed up to go 10-8 on the season for the Pioneers.

Kasyanov was a dominant 24-6 playing number one singles for the Pioneers as a rookie. He won his final six matches of the year and had an 11 match wining streak during the middle of the season.

Amalfe and Kasinow were the most consistent doubles combination for the Pioneers all season. The duo teamed up to post a 12-10 record on the season.
