BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Samford football team will begin its 2008 spring practice Wednesday at Seibert Stadium.

The Bulldogs, preparing for their first season as members of the Southern Conference, return seven starters on offense and eight on defense from the 2007 squad.

The Bulldogs will wrap up spring practice with a scrimmage on April 24 at 7 p.m.
