BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Samford football team has added a game to its 2008 football schedule. The Bulldogs will take on the Faulkner University Eagles on Sept. 6 at 6 p.m. at Seibert Stadium.

The game will mark the first-ever meeting between Samford and Faulkner in football. Faulkner, which will be playing its second season of football in 2008, posted a record of 1-9 in 2007.

The game has been scheduled as a result of a scheduling conflict that caused the cancellation of Samford's originally scheduled Sept. 6 game with Miles College.
