Complete Release in PDF Format USF TAKES FINAL ROAD TRIP; MEETS LOYOLA MARYMOUNT AND PEPPERDINE: San Francisco takes it's final road trip of the season, traveling south to meet Loyola Marymount on Thursday at 7:00 PM and Pepperdine on Saturday at 2:00 PM. GAME #28 - LOYOLA MARYMOUNT LIONS SCOUTING LOYOLA MARYMOUNT: The Lions enter Thursday with a 14-13 overall record and 6-6 in conference play. Last week, LMU fell to Pepperdine, 60-49 in it's only game of the week. USF fell to the Lions 68-64 in San Francisco in their first meeting of the year (2/2/08). On the leaderboard for the Lions, senior guard Amanda DeCoud averages 11.0 ppg, 3.6 rpg, and 4.0 apg. Following close behind is freshman guard Renahy Young, who averages 10.8 ppg, 2.2 rpg, and 2.0 apg. Through 27 games, the Lions average 65.0 points on .385 from the field, and a .583 (312-535) clip from the free-throw line. Julie Wilhoit is in her 12th year at the helm for LMU. She owns a 181-190 record at Loyola Marymount, and is 302-260 in her 19 year career.

CARTER CONTINUES ASSAULT ON CAREER SCORING CHART: A three-time West Coast Conference First Team selection, senior guard Dominique Carter enters Saturday against Santa Clara with 1,765 career points, good for second place on the USF career scoring list. The Tracy, CA native trails USF Hall-of-Famer Mary Hile (1977-81), who holds a comanding lead with 2,324 career points. In Conference charts, Carter surpassed Saint Mary's Cheree Tappin (1987-91/1,742) and is in fourth place. She needs 35 points to pass Santa Clara's Melissa King (1990-93/1,798). Carter is third in the league in scoring this season at 18.6 points per contest and is third in free-throw percentage (.826/62-76).
