SAN DIEGO -
Immediately after Wednesday night's men's basketball game against BYU, I contacted Bobby Dibler, Supervisor of Officials, who was present at the game, expressing my outrage over apparent missed calls during the last 20 seconds of the game. Thursday morning, Mr. Dibler and the Conference office, after reviewing the tape, responded with their report. They further indicated that they had reviewed the tape with the officials and discussed with them the calls. Although terribly disappointed with the officiating in that last 20 seconds, we are pleased that the Conference acted promptly and meaningfully.
