SCOUTING THE REDHAWKS: Southeast brings a 14-6 overall record and a 9-2 conference ledger into this weekend's slate. The Redhawks have captured six of their last seven contests which included an 81-74 victory at Murray State on Jan. 26 to finish the month of January with a 6-1 record. Leading Southeast is senior forward/center Missy Whitney with averages of 14.7 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game. Junior guard/forward Sonya Daugherty is averaging 13.6 points a game in addition to posting a team-leading 2.0 steals per contest.

SCOUTING THE SKYHAWKS: UT Martin enters the weekend sporting a season record of 4-17 which includes a 1-10 mark against OVC competition prior to Thursday's home game against Tennessee Tech. The Skyhawks dropped a pair of contests in Alabama last week with losses to Samford (56-41) and Jacksonville State (64-52). Senior forward Crystal Fuller paces UTM offensively with 16.3 points per game while connecting on 52 percent of her shots from the field. Fuller is the reigning OVC Player of the Week after averaging 30 points per contest last week in Alabama. Junior forward Phyllisha Mitchell leads the Skyhawks in rebounding with an average of 9.1 boards a game, which is good for second in the OVC. Tara Tansil is in her fourth season as head coach at her alma mater and has tallied a career record of 38-69.

SERIES HISTORY: The Redhawks currently hold a 29-19 advantage in the all-time series with UT Martin and have won seven of the last nine contests in the series. Southeast has posted seven consecutive victories over the Skyhawks at the Show Me Center that included last season's 58-52 win. Both teams each posted a win on its own home court to split the season series.

THINKING PINK!: Southeast will participate in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association's (WBCA) Think Pink week during its Feb. 14 game against Eastern Illinois at the Show Me Center. The WBCA started Think Pink in 2007 as an initiative to raise breast cancer awareness in women's basketball on college campuses and communities. The Redhawks are one of 800 women's basketball programs on the collegiate and high school level to participate in this year's program.

OVC LEADERS: Southeast ranks first in the OVC in turnover margin for overall games and conference games. The Redhawks have posted a +5.45 rating in all of their games while posting a +3.27 rating against OVC opposition.

TAKING OFFENSE ON THE GLASS: Junior forward Crysta Glenn has proven to be one of the top offensive rebounders in the OVC during her first year with Southeast. The 5-10 native of San Diego, Calif., is averaging 2.6 caroms on the offensive end to rank seventh in the OVC. In conference games, Glenn is pulling down an average of 3.1 offensive boards a game to place fifth in the OVC.
