By Brett Maikowski, Tennis Contact

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Southeast tennis will compete in their first home match of the season as they go up against Murray State on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. The Redhawks will look to continue their success in OVC play as they will go for their second consecutive win after defeating Austin Peay on Saturday, March 1.

The Redhawks' lineup for the match will stay consistent with last week's order with senior Bryce Kristal leading off in No. 1 singles play. Following, senior Drew Kristal will take over at the No. 2 spot. In the No. 3 and No. 4 slots for Southeast, junior Julia Masotti and sophomore Alyce Kelly will compete. Sophomore Elise Nattier will assume the No. 5 position with freshman Taylor Orahood battling for her first win of the season in No. 6 play.

In doubles action, the Kristals will comprise the No. 1 pair for the match. The No. 2 tandem will consist of Masotti and Kelly, while Nattier and Orahood will look for their first win as the No. 3 team.

Murray State hopes to start off conference play on the right foot Thursday in their first conference match against Southeast. They are coming off of a close 3-4 loss to Southern Illinois on Sunday, March 2, which dropped their overall season record to 5-3.
