Rome, Ga. - In the final two games of their Southern States Athletic Conference series with Reinhardt, the Shorter College Hawks baseball team fell victim to 11 errors in the doubleheader as the Eagles picked up 7-6 and 13-10 wins at the Ledbetter Complex.

In the opener, Shorter (10-17, 3-9) took a 6-0 lead into the fifth inning, but saw Reinhardt use three of the Hawks six errors in the game to explode for five runs, then added two more in the seventh to seal the outcome.

In the nightcap, the Hawks added five more mistakes in the field as Reinhardt used a four-run rally in the sixth inning to take a 13-7 lead, then fought off a three-run outburst by the Hawks in the seventh to notch the win.

Trevor Miller had a perfect performance with the bat, going 4-for-4 with a homer and four RBI. Brooke added two hits and drove in a run, while Mark Charrette had two hits.
