Lady Hawks continue road dominance, beat Barons 64-50

Rome, Ga. - Using a team-high 26 points from guard Sandra Kostandinovic, the Shorter Lady Hawks basketball team posted a 64-50 win at Brewton-Parker in an SSAC game on Thursday night.

It was Shorter's third conference win on the road this season and their sixth win on opponents' home court overall.

Kostandinovic finished 4-of-5 from 3-point range, and also pulled down nine rebounds. Nicole Frechette registered a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds, and Katarina Martinovic added 13 points and five boards to help lead the Lady Hawks (16-6, 9-3) to their fourth straight win and their seventh in the past nine games.

Dana Abrams had five points and three assists for the Lady Hawks, who were 8-of-11 (73 percent) from 3-point range.
