LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Siena College junior outfielder Nick Messinger was named MAAC Co-Player of the Week earlier today. Messinger went 9-for-16, hit four doubles, scored eight runs, drove in four runs and stole four bases in as many attempts. He also played error-free defense with 13 putouts and one outfield assist.

Messinger (Norton, Mass./Bishop Feehan) helped the Saints to a 5-1 record last week. He went a combined 5-for-9 at the plate with five runs scored and an RBI in the series win over league leader Canisius.

Siena returns to action Tuesday at Cornell.
