Just over two months have elapsed since the Siena men's basketball team captured its third MAAC title and advanced to the NCAA Tournament with a championship game victory over Rider. Today the Siena baseball team will try to equal that feat when they meet the Broncs in the MAAC Baseball Championship at Waterfront Park in Trenton, N.J.

Siena will need to defeat fourth seeded Rider twice to capture the crown. The Broncs advanced to the title game via the winners' bracket with victories over Canisius (Thursday) and Siena (Friday). The third seeded Saints bounced back from their loss to the Broncs with a 5-2 win over top seed Canisius in the fifth game of the double elimination tournament last night.
