Women's Lacrosse Adds Ostrye as Captain for Upcoming Season

Ostrye Joins Harkins, Rosecrans and Winslow as Quad-Captains for 2008 Squad

Loudonville, N.Y. - Siena women's lacrosse coach Jake McHerron announced the addition of senior midfielder Katie Ostrye as a team captain for the upcoming 2008 season. Ostrye joins fellow teammates Lynn Harkins, Lindsey Rosecrans and Emily Winslow who were initially named as the team's tri-captains on June 21st.

"Katie has shown constant leadership and dedication throughout her career and in the fall," noted McHerron.

A 5'9" native of Katonah, N.Y., Ostrye tallied one goal in nine games last season. Ostrye and the Saints will embark upon their quest for a MAAC Championship when the season gets underway on February 23rd at the Siena Turf Field against C.W. Post.
