HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss Department of Athletics encourages fans that plan on attending Saturday's annual Spring Black and Gold Game to avoid the potentially long lines on game day and buy their tickets early.

Admission prices are $10 for adults and $5 for youth tickets and the game is slated to start at 6 p.m.

"We are expecting the largest crowd in Southern Miss history for a spring game and we want our fans to have a great experience, so we'd like to encourage everyone to buy their tickets as early as possible to avoid potential lines that might form on Saturday, " said Southern Miss Deputy Director of Athletics Scott Carr.

Fans can purchase tickets from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., weekdays at the Pat Ferlise Athletic Center Ticket Office on West 4th Street or by calling 1-800-844-TICK (8425). The Felise Center will also be open from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., Saturday.

Tickets can also be purchased online 24-hours-a-day at SouthernMiss.com.

For those individuals attending Wednesday night's LSU baseball game, spring game tickets can be purchased there or during the Friday or Saturday non-conference contests against Arkansas State at Pete Taylor Park/Hill Denson Field.
