HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- - Southern Miss forward Pauline Love (Luxora, Ark.) was named Conference USA Co-Player of the Week following her two-game performance during the week.

Love averaged 17.5 points and 16.5 rebounds, while shooting 43.3 percent from the field and 75.0 percent from the line. She recorded her seventh and eighth double-doubles of the season, scoring 17 points and grabbing 15 rebounds against South Alabama. She followed that with an18 point, 18 rebound performance against Louisiana Tech. The 18 rebounds tops the league for best individual single game performance and tied for the seventh-best individual performance in USM history.

Southern Miss went 1-1 on the week, losing on a last second shot against South Alabama (76-74), before defeating Louisiana Tech (67-62) to snap a three-game losing streak.

Love is one of two players in the league that averages a double-double. She ranks second in C-USA and leads Southern Miss in scoring (18.3 ppg) and rebounding (11.2). This is Love's first career C-USA Player of the Week honor.
