HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss women's golf team will travel to Miami, Fla. to take part in the Qdoba Invitational, February 17-19, hosted by the University of Miami. The three-day tournament will take place at Don Shula's Golf Resort.

Twelve teams will compete in this event. Southern Miss will be joined by Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami, Mississippi State, New Mexico State, San Jose State, South Florida and Virginia.

The Lady Eagles earned a fifth-place finish at last week's Baja Invitational in Ensada, Mexico. Virginia Espejo finished in a tie for tenth, while Heather Golden and Jennifer Judge tied for 13th-place.

Play will begin on Sunday with a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start, followed by 8:30 a.m. shotgun starts on Monday and Tuesday.
