Baton Rouge, LA - The Southern University Lady Jaguars softball team will host the Lad Colonels of Nicholls State University to a 2:00 p.m. contest on Wednesday, March 12th. Southern (14-8) will host the Lady Colonels to only their second home contest of the year. In their first the Blue and Gold defeated the Alcorn State University Lady Braves in double header action. In two games the Lady Jaguars needed only 10 innings to defeat Alcorn 11-0 and 10-2. The game will be at Lady Jaguar field located on the campus of Southern University. The event is free and open to the public.
