At Stanford: Had a breakout season in 2010, earning All-America honors both indoors and outdoors ... earned a third All-America honor as a member of the indoor distance medley relay team.

2013 Season: Outdoors - Returned to action after an injury-plagued stretch by running in three meets, beginning with the Big Meet (fifth, 3:58.00) ... ran his season best of 3:50.29 at the Payton Jordan Invitational ... did not advance from the preliminary round of the Pac-12 Championships, placing 23rd overall (3:58.94) ... named Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention. Indoors - Did not compete.

2012 Season: Outdoors - Did not compete. Indoors - Placed 13th in the 800 at the MPSF Championships, running 1:52.31.

2011 Season: Outdoors - Ran a season-best time of 1:49.51 in the 800 at the Payton Jordan Invitational. Indoors -Earned the third All-America honor of his career as a member of the distance medley relay that placed eighth at the NCAA Championships in 9:35.02 ... placed fourth at the MPSF Championships in the mile with a season-best 4:03.37 ... also competed in the DMR at the MPSF's, helping Stanford to third and to the overall team title ... ran an indoors eason best of 1:49.11 at the Razorback Invitational.

2010 Season: Outdoors - Earned a second-team All-America honor with a ninth-place finish in the 1,500 at the NCAA Championships for his second All-America honor ...fourth-place finisher at the Pac-10 Championships in the 1,500 with a time of 3:42.73 ... ran a collegiate career best of 3:40.07 at the Payton Jordan Invitational ... won the 800 at the Stanford Invitational with 1:48.72. Indoors - Earned his first All-America honor after placing eighth in the mile at the NCAA Championships ... ran 3:58.90 at the Husky Classic to become the ninth indoor sub-4 minute miler in Stanford indoor history ... placed second in the 800 at the MPSF Championships in 1:49.05.

2009 Season: Outdoors - Outdoors - Competed in the 800 at the Pac-10 Championships where he finished fourth in his heat, but did not advance to the final ... ran a collegiate-best time of 3:48.46 in the 1,500 at the Payton Jordan Cardinal Invitational ... placed fifth at the Big Meet in the 800. Indoors - Ran a season-best time of 1:50.10 in the 800 at the UW Husky Classic ... ran the 800 leg of the distance medley relay that placed fifth and scored four team points for Stanford at the MPSF Championships.

International: Competed in the 800 at the 2009 Junior Pan Am Games where he finished fifth in 1:49.84, in Port of of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago ...represented the U.S. and qualified for the final at the 2007 World Youth Championships in Ostrava, Czech Republic, finishing eighth in 1:51.91.

Cross Country: Ran in a total of four races over the 2009 and 2010 seasons for Stanford.

High School: A middle-distance specialist with international experience, he was among the nation's best in both the 800 meters (1:49.27) and the 1,600 meters (4:06.58) ... he is the 2006, 2007, and 2008 North Carolina state 800 champion, and the 2007 and 2008 North Carolina state champion in the 1,600 ... ran 1:49.48 for 800 in 2008, the fifth-fastest time in the nation.

Personal: Majoring in product design ... parents are Dennis and Robyn Ferris.
