2013 Season: Outdoors - Earned his fourth top-five Pac-12 finish in the shot put, placing fourth at 55-11 3/4 ... also third at Pac-12's in the discus with a season best 189-10 ... advanced to the NCAA West Prelims in both events ... placed 20th in the discus (175-11) and 37th in the shot (52-3 3/4) ... won the Big Meet inthe discus (187-1) and was second in the shot (season best 58-1 3/4) ... won the discus at the Payton Jordan Invitational (183-5). Indoors - Placed third in the MPSF Championships in the shot put with a 58-0 1/4 ... had a season best of 58-5 3/4 at the Don Kirby Invitational ... competed in six meets, all in the shot.

2012 Season: Outdoors - Set a personal record of 192-6 while earning his best-ever NCAA finish, ninth place for second-team All-America honors ... throw placed him at No. 35 on the 2012 U.S. performance list ... fouled out of the Pac-12 meet without recording a legal throw ... placed seventh at the NCAA West Preliminary Round with throw of 188-7 ... threw 187-1 at the Payton Jordan Invitational ... placed third in the shot put at the Pac-12 Championships,at 55-5 1/2 ... earned Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention honors. Indoors - Placed fourth at the MPSF Championships in the shot put at 57-7 1/2 ...set a personal record of 58-7 1/2 -- the third-farthest in Stanford indoor history -- at the Razorback Invitational ... had a weight throw of 42-2 3/4 at the Bronco Invitational ... earning MPSF All-Academic honors.

2011 Season: Outdoors - Advanced to the NCAA Championships in the discus, placing 19th (173-10) to earn honorable mention All-America honors ... the Pac-10 champion in the discus with a career-best 189-6 ... also placed fifth at the Pac-10 meet in the shot put with a 58-4½ ... the Big Meet champion in the discus with a 188-9 ... also placed second in the shot put at the Big Meet with a 57-7½. Indoors - Placed sixth at the MPSF Championships in the shot put with a 56-11½ to help Stanford to the team title ... earned an indoor season best of 57-7½ at the Razorback Invitational.

2010 Season: Outdoors - Only competition during the outdoor season was the Stanford Opener where he tossed 57-3 in the shot put and 184-10 in the discus ... earned a medical redshirt for the season ... an honorable mention Pac-10 All-Academic selection. Indoors - Top shot put of the season came a the Husky Classic with a heave of 58-5¼ ... placed second at the MPSF Championships in the shot put with a toss of 58-5¼ ... named 2010 MPSF All-Academic for the 2010 indoor season.

2009 Season: Outdoors - Scored six team points for Stanford at the Pac-10 Championships after placing fifth in the shot put and seventh in the discus ... placed second in the shot put and third in the discus at the Big Meet to help Stanford capture the victory ... NCAA West Regional qualifier in both the shot put and the discus ... earned personal bests in both the shot put (55-9) and the discus (186-8) at the NCAA West Regional. Indoors - Did not compete.

International: Competed in the 2008 World Junior Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland ... finished 15th in his group with a best of 161-5 3/4.

High School: The 2008 junior national champion in the discus ... came from fifth place in the last round to win ... onhis last throw, he threw the winning 195-5 ... his toss also ranked No. 3 all-time in U.S. high school track and field ... four-time Oklahoma 5A state champ in both the shot put and the discus ... Oklahoma 5A state record holder in the discus at 210-8, to win the 2008 state title ... won the 2012 state meet in the shot with a put of 63-9 3/4 ... led Ardmore to back to back state championships in 2006 and 2007 ... four-year team captain for track and field.

Personal: History major ... parents are Phil and Susie Tabor ... entertained the crowd at Maples Pavilion with his stand-up comedy routine at the STANNY'S, the first student-organized athletics sports awards on campus ... father was a defensive lineman on a national football championship team at Oklahoma (1975) and played four years (1979-82) with the NFL's New York Giants... uncle Paul Tabor was an offensive lineman at Oklahoma and played the 1980 season in the NFL for the Chicago Bears ... brother, Phil Jr., played football and track at Wheaton College.
