AT STANFORD: Talented junior who gives Stanford a formidable pass-rushing threat from the rush linebacker's position...has 15.0 career sacks in 25 career games...named to the preseason watch list for the Nagurski Trophy, given to the top defensive player in the country...also named to the preseason watch list for the Ronnie Lott Award...burst onto the scene in 2008 to earn first team freshman All-America honors by various publications.

2009 (SOPHOMORE): Honorable mention All-Pac-10 selection...started all 13 games at defensive end...had 47 tackles overall, including a team-high 15.0 tackles-for-loss, which ranked tied for third in the Pac-10...finished tied for fourth in the Pac-10 with 9.0 sacks for a loss of 70 yards...finished with five tackles in the season opener at Washington State, including a personal-best 3.5 tackles-for-loss...had a career-best three sacks against San Jose State among his six total tackles...became the first Cardinal player to register three sacks in a game since Julian Jenkins vs. UCLA in 2005...had a season-high seven tackles against Cal...finished with five total tackles, including two solo stops vs. Oklahoma in the Sun Bowl...added to the midseason watch list for the Hendricks Award, which honors the top defensive end in college football.
