2012 Season (Senior): Team captain ... named Team MVP for the season ... earned her first two All-America honors with her performance at the team preliminaries ... named second-team All-America for all-around and floor exercise ... captured NCAA Champaign Regional title on the uneven bars (9.925) ... named to the Pac-12 All-Academic second team ... earned Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week honors (March 6) for her performance in a dual at Arizona State (March 4), scoring her career-best 9.950 to win the bars with the team's season-high score in that event ... tied Ashley Morgan for the team season lead in victories, with 11 - six on bars, two each on floor and all-around, and once on vault ... was No. 3 on the vault lineup that produced a 49.550 team score at the Super Six - Stanford's high score of the year on any event and the second-highest vault score in school history ... scored two 9.900's in her final meet, on bars and floor at the Super Six ... competed in all 13 meets on bars, 11 on vault, 10 on floor, and eight on beam ... scored her career-best in the all-around of 39.450 to win a tri-meet against Arizona and Cal at Burnham Pavilion (March 4).

2011 Season (Junior): Named to the All-Pac-10 second team on floor exercise ... also earned Pac-10 All-Academic second team honors ... earned Pac-10 Special Performance of the Week honors on Feb. 8 for her performance against San Jose State Feb. 5 ... Invented the "Pechancova," a twisting release move off the high bar, and unveiled it in collegiate competition against San Jose State, scoring a collegiate career high 9.925 ... that was the team's high score in that event ... the move was named for her surname while competing for the Czech Republic when she used it in the World Championships ... a fixture in the bar and floor lineups, Pechanec competing in all 11 competitions in these events ... all four of her individual victories came on the bars ... was in the balance beam lineup four four times and made her collegiate debut in the vault late in the season in a quad meet at Cal (March 6) ... it was also the first time she competed in all four events in a meet, posting a 38.850 in her first collegiate all-around ... tied for fifth in the vault in the Pac-10 Championships in just her second time competing in the event at the college level ... also placed fifth on floor and 21st on bars ... had individual victories on the bars at the Chicago Style (9.900), against Arizona (9.850), and against Arizona State (9.900), in addition to San Jose State.

2010 Season (Sophomore): Has competed in every floor lineup since she arrived at Stanford ... tied for fourth on floor (9.875) and ninth on bars (9.80) at Pac-10 Championships ... named All-Pac-10 second team on the floor ... also earned Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention ... competed in all 14 competitions on bars and floor, and three on beam ... averaged 9.904 on floor over six consecutive meets, from Jan. 24 (career-high 9.95 vs. UCLA) to Feb. 28 ... the 9.95 tied Carly Janiga (in multiple events) for Stanford's highest score in 2010 ... had three of Stanford's top seven scores on floor ... made gymnastike.org's Stick of the Week for her bars landing during home quad meet Feb. 28 ... got Stanford back on track after a fall at Pac-10s with a 9.80 on the bars ... No. 4 on floor lineup (9.90) that produced a 49.575 vs. UCLA (Jan. 24) for Stanford's highest event score of the season ... earned three victories, all on floor ... named to the Scholastic All-America team by the National Association of Collegiate Coaches/Women.

2009 Season (Freshman): The only team member to compete on floor in every meet, and one of two to compete on bars in every competition ... scored at least 9.8 seven times in each event ... earned her first two collegiate victories at Cal (Feb. 22) by tying for first on the beam (9.9) in her collegiate debut in that event, and scoring a 9.925 on floor ... The latter score tied for Stanford's highest of the season in that event ... was the only Stanford freshman to compete in the NCAA Championships. International: Member of the Czech Republic senior national team where she competes under the name of Nicole Pechancova ... was the second all-around finisher for the Czech team at the World Championships in Rotterdam, Netherlands in Oct., 2010 ... her beam and floor scores led her team ... won the balance beam at the 2007 World Cup in Ostrava, Czech Republic, and was second on floor ... member of Czech World Championship teams in 2006 and 2007 ... also competed in two European Championships (2007, 2008), qualifying for the 2007 all-around finals in Amsterdam ... first in the all-around and second on beam and floor at a five-nation international meet in Brno, Czech Republic, that also included Austria, Great Britain, Poland, and Switzerland ... Czech 2007 national champion on floor and runner-up on beam.

Club/High School: The 2005 U.S. Junior Olympic national runner-up on beam, and eighth all-around ... Level 10 regional uneven bar champion in 2003 ... trained at her mother's club until age 12 ... trained at Aiken (S.C.) Gymnastics from 2002-05 ... later trained at Parkettes National Gymnastics Training Center of Allentown, Pa., while coached by Yvette Pechanec, and Bill and Donna Strauss ... a 2008 graduate of Keystone National High School, which offers an online curriculum for homeschooled students.

Personal: Born in Newark, N.J., to Czech parents, Tomas and Yvette Pechanec ... mother competed on the Czech national gymnastics team ... father sailed for the Czech national team, in the Europa and Fin classes, and later sailed in the U.S., competing at the U.S. nationals ... has a sister, Monica ... speaks several languages ... majoring in engineering ... enjoys art, playing the piano, and traveling.
