Start of baseball series vs. Dayton pushed back to Saturday
April 4, 2008
ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - The start of this weekend's home Atlantic 10 baseball series against Dayton has been moved back until Saturday due to extreme amounts of rain overnight and consistent showers in Friday afternoon's forecast. St. Bonaventure and the Flyers will now play a pair of nine-inning games on Saturday, beginning at noon on Fred Handler Park at McGraw-Jennings Field. Both teams enter this weekend's crucial conference series with 2-4 marks in the A-10. The projected game one pitching matchup is St. Bonaventure junior Jim Britton against Dayton senior Alex Dye. The second game of the doubleheader is projected to feature the Brown and White's Cody Vincent vs. junior lefty Quinn Haselhorst. The final game of the series is still slated for Sunday at noon weather permitting.
