Final Stats

OLEAN, N.Y. (AP)-- Leemire Goldwire scored a career-high 39 points, leading Charlotte to an 87-83 win over St. Bonaventure in Atlantic 10 play Saturday.

Goldwire connected on 8-of-13 3-point shots. AnJuan Wilderness added 14 points, and Lamont Mack finished with 11 for the 49ers (14-8, 5-3).

Michael Lee scored 21 points and had eight rebounds for St. Bonaventure (7-15, 1-7).

Freshman Matt Morgan added 17 points and had seven rebounds. Tyler Relph and Zarryon Fereti scored 16 and 15 points, respectively.

Charlotte held its biggest lead in the second half at 63-54 with 9:42 to play. The Bonnies responded with a 14-5 run to tie the game at 68.

The 49ers regained the lead, but St. Bonaventure tied it at 71 with 3:39 to play. Wilderness made a jump shot to give the 49ers a lead they would not give up.
