Softball adds three student-athletes for next season

May 22, 2008

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - St. Bonaventure softball head coach Mike Threehouse announced the addition of a trio of student-athletes to his 2008-09 roster with the signing of Anderson Conte (Owego, N.Y./Seton Catholic Central), Erin Nargi (Victor, N.Y./Victor) and Brittany Storch (Elmira Heights, N.Y./Thomas A. Edison) to National Letters of Intent.

"Anderson, Erin and Brittany coupled with the rest of the incoming freshmen class will ensure a bright future for the program," said Threehouse. "Our pitching staff will consist of six quality hurlers, anchored by 2008 Atlantic 10 All-Conference first team selection Sherri Thompson, and will allow us to keep our status as one of the top teams in the conference. I am looking forward to getting to work so we can once again compete for an A-10 championship."

This trio of incoming freshmen will join future fellow classmates Mary Bostwick (Oakfield, N.Y./Oakfield-Alabama), Brooke Frey (New Paltz, N.Y./New Paltz) and Ashley Nowak (Hamlin, N.Y./Our Lady of Mercy), who all inked with the Bonnies during the early signing period.
