The Red Storm (20-33, 5-17 BIG EAST) will face off against the Pride of Hofstra (35-10, 15-3 CAA) on April 30 for a single game. First pitch is slated for 4 p.m. at Red Storm Field.
Hofstra leads the all-time series versus St. John's, 23-12, with the last meeting coming in 2006. The Red Storm came up short in both games of a doubleheader, falling 14-6, and 5-1.
St. John's split two BIG EAST series last weekend with Rutgers and Villanova. The win over Villanova marked the first win in extra innings this season.

Scouting Hofstra
The Pride is 35-10 this season, with a 15-3 conference record.
Hofstra went 41-15, (17-3) last season. They return 14 letter winners, eight starters and three pitchers.
Sophomore Michele DePasquale leads the Pride with a .387 average. She also has six doubles and 12 RBI.
Junior Casey Fee has registered 47 hits this season with a .353 batting average.
The Pride boast two pitchers with ERA's under 1.00.
Junior Joanna Kralowetz leads the team in ERA with a 0.56. She is 4-1 on the season with three saves and 22 strikeouts.
Courtney Oliver, also a junior, is 9-1 in 68.1 innings, with 57 strikeouts.
