PENNSAUKEN, N.J. - The Saint Joseph's men's rowing team began the 2008 season at the Jesuit Invitational on Cooper River.

The Hawks' Varsity 8 finished third behind two crews from Georgetown in 6:10.30.

The Freshman 8 and Lightweight 8 each placed third behind two crews from Georgetown, as di the Freshman 4.

The Hawks will compete next at Trinity College on April 12.
