Saint Joseph's Field Hockey Honored by Coaches Association

PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's University field hockey team was one of 48 squads nationwide to receive the 2007 ZAG/NFHCA Division I National Academic Team Award. The award is given out by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association to teams with an average grade-point average of 3.0 or greater. It is the fifth consecutive season that the Hawks received this honor. Twelve SJU student-athletes were honored individually as well. The Hawks named to the NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad are seniors Theresa Barbati, Rebecca Cunfer, Brianne Miller, and Katie Young; sophomores Mary Beaman, Krista Bordogna, Anne Schreuders, and Kellie Walter; and freshmen Caitlyn Crane, Casey Fry, Hannah Rogers, and Jen Wrublesky.
