PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's women's rowing team completed a long weekend of racing against Big East foe UConn on the Schuylkill River. The Hawks won all of the eights races, dominating the Freshmen 8 and 2nd Varsity 8. The Varsity 8 had to come from behind, but showed great resolve and poise to best the Huskies by three seconds in the end.

The Varsity 4 dropped its race by five seconds to the Huskies in a hard fought battle.

The Hawks return to action next week at the San Diego Crew Classic.
