Saint Joseph's Women's Outdoor Track & Field Finish Eighth at Atlantic 10 Championships

AMHERST, Mass.--The Saint Joseph's women's track team earned 48 points in the two-day Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track & Field Championships this weekend, good for eighth place. The Hawks earned three second place finishes, including a school record-setting time by the 4x400m Relay. Charlotte won the event with 203 points. The 4x400m Relay squad finished second in a time of 3:47.45, good for All Atlantic 10 Second Team. The previous record was 3:49.3. Jordan Teuber and Kristin Pierce garnered A-10 Second Team honors with their silver medal performances in the 200m dash and 400m hurdles, respectively. Teuber finished in a time of 24.75, while Pierce ran a time of 1:04.05. Just .39 behind Pierce was Kristin Andrews in fourth place. The 4x100m Relay and Nicole McMullen in the long jump also had fourth place showings. The 4x100 completed in the race in a time of 47.61, while McMullen leapt 17'9 ½" in the long jump competition. Teuber was sixth in the 100m dash Finals, completing the sprint in a time of 12.22. McMullen turned in two times that were just off qualifying for the Finals in the 100m (12.75) and 200m (25.55) dashes, which earned her 10th place in both events.
