Recap |  Box Score

Senior center Bryce Husak

This game compared to the last GW game
"The biggest difference in this is that shots were falling. We weren't tentative, we attacked them, we rebounded hard. Dwayne shot the ball really well tonight, and everyone just came with an edge. It was great tonight.

"We did a nice job of shutting down their main guys and we didn't let anybody else beat us either. We played hard, we played tough. We weren't intimidated by their press, it's a really great feeling.

"We practice every day like we should. We leave everything on the court, and you can't deny that. We were ready to go today. You don't want to win just because of what happened last time, you want to win because of your team."

On shooting 3s
"I'm confident. Coach has given me the green light with that shot, and I'm going to take it every time with out a doubt. I feel perfectly comfortable taking that shot every time."

Junior guard Kevin Lisch
On the difference tonight compared to the previous George Washington game
"We were more ready to shoot. Guys were calling for the ball and we shot more confidently.

"Bryce definitely got us off to a great start and got us all going. Our defensive game plan was pretty similar to last time. They only scored 49 points, but people don't remember that obviously because we only scored 20. We have a lot of confidence in our defense."
