Stony Brook, N.Y. - Senior Dana Hastie (Wellington, New Zealand) has been named the America East Women's Track Performer of the Week, according to a release from the conference Wednesday morning.

Hastie was the fourth collegiate athlete to cross in the 10,000-meter event at the Mount SAC Relays in Walnut, Calif. this past weekend. Hastie's time of 34:14.53 shattered the previous school record set in 1985 by almost two minutes and is currently the 16th fastest time in the country which makes her a NCAA East Regional qualifier.
