April 18, 2008 Stony Brook, N.Y. - Sophomore Jeremy Nowak (Cheektowaga, N.Y.) was one of 45 relief pitchers included on the midseason watch list for the fourth annual National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Stopper of the Year Award, the association announced Thursday. The award is given to the top relief pitcher in Division I college baseball. Nowak is 3-1 with a 1.40 ERA in 12 appearances and his six saves ranks 25th in the nation.
