Stony Brook To Host 2007 America East Baseball Championships at Farmingdale State College
May 21, 2007 Stony Brook, N.Y. - The Stony Brook baseball team will host the 2007 America East Championships this weekend on the campus of Farmingdale State College in Farmingdale, N.Y. The Seawolves finished the regular season with a 31-22 overall record and a 16-7 league mark, its best record in the America East in program history, and enter the tournament as the No. 2 seed. Binghamton is the top seed, the Seawolves are seeded No. 2, Albany is the third seed with Maine as the fourth seed rounding out the field. For more information and the tournament schedule click here. The first pitch of the tournament is scheduled for 12:05 p.m. on Thursday, May 24 when Binghamton takes on Maine. Stony Brook will take on Albany later on Thursday evening at 7:35 p.m. General admission tickets are $6 for adults and $2 for students and children under 14 per session. Tickets will be available at the stadium on game day.
