Stony Brook, N.Y. - Football season tickets for Stony Brook University's 2008 season are now on sale. An exciting six-game home schedule is on tap this fall for the Seawolves, including their first games against Big South Conference opponents as Stony Brook enters its first season of competition in the league. Ticket packages can be purchased on-line at www.goseawolves.org or by calling the Stony Brook Athletics ticket office at 631-632-WOLF (9653).

In addition to three games against Big South schools Charleston Southern, Gardner-Webb and VMI, Stony Brook will be hosting three non-conference opponents as well, beginning with the season-opener against Colgate on August 30. Nationally ranked Elon will visit on September 6 while the battle for Long Island bragging rights against Hofstra will take place on September 27.

A variety of season ticket options are available for Stony Brook football fans, including Solo packs, Twin packs, and Family 4 packs as well as discounted rates for Stony Brook University Alumni and Staff. All season ticket packages will be in the chairback section of LaValle Stadium and include a copy of the 2008 Football Media guide. Single game tickets will have the option of either a general admission or chairback ticket starting on August 1. Both season ticket packages and single game tickets can be purchased online at www.goseawolves.org, in person at the ticket office located in the Stony Brook Sports Complex or by phone at 631-632-WOLF(9653). The athletic ticket office is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.
