Stony Brook, N.Y. - The Stony Brook University women's soccer team earned the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/adidas Team Academic Award the organization recently announced.

The Seawolves had a team GPA of 3.03. Teams posting a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher earned the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 2006-07 academic year.

The Seawolves finshed the season 8-5-5 and hosted their first ever America East tournament game, a 2-1 victory over Maine.
