Stony Brook, N.Y. - Sophomore Alyssa Struzenberg (Cooper City, Fla.) has been named the America East Pitcher of the Week, according to a release from the conference Tuesday afternoon.

Struzenberg finished the week with a 0.31 ERA and a 4-0 record in 22.1 innings pitched. She allowed just three hits and one earned run, while striking out 25 batters and walking just nine. She threw a no-hitter against Binghamton on Saturday, striking out 10, and then came on in relief in the second game of the doubleheader to earn the win. In Sunday's win over the Bearcats, she threw a one-hitter to finish the series sweep, earning all three of the victories.

This is the second time Struzenberg has been honored by the conference this season with this award.
