Alabama State’s Hornets will take on Morehead State Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN in the Opening Round of the NCAA Tournament.

The Hornets (22-9) won the SWAC regular season and tournament titles this season, becoming the first conference team since Southern in 2006 to claim both titles in the same season.

A win by Alabama State would give the Hornets their first NCAA Tournament win in school history and the SWAC its first NCAA Tournament win since 1993 when Southern defeated Georgia Tech 93-78.
