SU Senior Matt Caplan (Houston, TX/University of Kansas) was named as an honorable mention All-SCAC selection for the 2007-08 season.

Caplan finished his senior campaign averaging eight points and five rebounds per game. He was SU's top rebounder and was third on the team in scoring. On the year, he shot 44.2 percent from the floor and was 13th in the conference in three-point field goal percentage, connecting on 38.5 percent from long range. This is the second year Caplan has made the All-SCAC honorable mention team.
