The Lions faced Division I foes, UT-San Antonio from the Southland Conference and host Baylor from the Big 12 Conference and Temple College. A&M-Commece dropped a 23-25, 12-25, 17-25 decision to start the day against the host Bears. Against Temple College, the Lions bounced back from a two-game deficit to dominate the third with a convincing 25-13 win. In the final match of the day, the Lions took two out of three from the Division I foe, UTSA. A&M-Commerce dropped a 21-25 decision in game one before rallying for a 25-20 and 25-22 victory in games two and three, respectively.

With the addition of newcomers - Perla Faudoa, Samantha Holmes and Alyssa Oberle - as well as the return of veterans Amy Addison, Lauren Flynn, Rachel Lance and Terra Ousley and Brittany Williams, there is a lot of excitement for the upcoming 2008 season at A&M-Commerce after a successful spring season.
