FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU Horned Frogs will host the UNLV Rebels in a key Mountain West Conference series this weekend at Lupton Stadium. The Frogs, winners of six straight, will be looking to get revenge for an earlier 2-1 series loss in Las Vegas two weeks ago. Friday's opener is slated for 6:30 p.m. The series continues with a 2 p.m. start on Saturday. The contest will air live on The Mtn. Sunday's finale is set for 1 p.m.
TCU NOTABLES
TCU is riding a six-game winning streak entering the weekend.
The Frogs' bats have come to life recently, hitting .302 during the winning streak.
Clint Arnold has been the hottest hitter with a .545 average in the last six games.
On the mound, the Frogs continue to get solid pitching, posting a 2.67 ERA last week with 47 strikeouts and just 17 walks.
Defensively, they committed just three errors for a .987 fielding percentage.
